Campaigns<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

ALTAA channels energy and ressources on campaign issues which allows for a collective drilling-down into specific issues identified as of common interest.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2022, the alliance engaged a first focus on food poverty, recognising it as a priority area underlying all other issues relating to the transition towards sustainable food systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2023-2024 campaign : Let\u2019s talk about shifting our diets<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The alliance launched a campaign to accelerate change in our food environments<\/strong> in order to facilitate a shift towards more sustainable and plant-based diets<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The benefits of a more plant-based diet on our health and the environment is today widely recognised scientifically. <\/strong>Locally however, implementing this shift through local food policy-making is proving difficult.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

We’re asking<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  • How can we talk about changing our diets without coercing, creating tension or a sense of guilt ?<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • How can we facilitate and create the conditions for this shift towards sustainable and plant-based diets ?<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Above all, how are local food stakeholders already contributing to this shift ? <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
